I'm very outgoing and I enjoy a good laugh. I live my life to the fullest and do not regreat anything. My family is very important to me and are big part of my life. My philosophy on life is that people should focus on what makes them happy. Life is short and you only get one shot at it (as far as I'm aware).

I dislike bad lighting, most chain restaurants, fast food, strip malls, Walmart, narrow-mindedness, stupidity, right-wing facists and lying. I also have a mild fear of dogs.

Let's see... I am a Southern California-born girl and moved to Oregon when I was a teenager. I played fastpitch softball for over 11 years and retired when I realized that art/design was my true passion for the long-term. So, I studied Apparel Design in Portland and then got a job with a local sportswear brand after graduation.

For an update: I just lost two friends since the beginning of this new year, so I'm not on here a whole lot. I hope that you can be patient for a response and not to give up hope.

Im a non party person. I dont do drugs of any kind, don't smoke, rarely drinks, I know sounds boring but if you cared enough, it wouldn't bother you. I want children someday so it has to be a must that you care enough about children to be a friend. I am a real caring, loving person until you piss me off then I'm a bitch! Yes I'm a flirt, but I keep it calm cause I don't like to get caught in a triangle of drama. Dont want to get involved with anyone who does any kind of drugs including stoners.

I am a single father of three great kids, 2 boys, 1 girl. Also have a 10 yr old granddaughter and a 5 mo old grandson who are important in my life. Im an easy going guy with a pretty even temperament. I like to joke around and be with people who can laugh at themselves and who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm certainly not the most politically correct person and I don't always say the right thing. Im far from perfect, but I'm always trying to find ways to improve myself. I enjoy running and exercising, or at least how I feel when I'm done. Basketball has always been a passion of mine. I'm also a big Blazer fan. I don't drink and I don't smoke, never have and probably never will. I don't mind being around people who do those things, it's just a choice I made for myself a long time ago. I also have two wonderful little kids.

As far as what Im looking for...
I would like to meet someone who is confident, secure, intelligent, positive, enthusiastic, and genuin. Someone who's passion for the things they love inspires me to take interest in them also. I also like a girl who is not afraid to get her hands dirty. A healthy attitude, mind, and body is important to me. Im open for anything from making a good friend to hang out with, to dating, to a potentially long term relationship. Im trying to keep an open mind about anything and everything.

I'm pretty low key, low drama with minimal baggage. Yes, there is some, but I'm continually working on self improvement... I tend to be self aware and happy most of the time. To me, life is about learning new things and being in the present.

I've mellowed in my old age and am trying to stop and smell the roses somewhat. So now I embrace all types of people, but especially tattooed chics on bikes, and pirate wenches (I'm kidding, of course.) I like to read, watch movies, work out, and do some free-lance writing when I have the time. I also play "old boy" rugby now and then. I used to be involved in the Irish community a lot, but not as much anymore. One can only organize so many St. Pat's parades, Bloomsdays, Famine Memorials, and Presidential visits.

I like someone who is intelligent, inquisitive, and well-read. If you tell me, "I have went to college and got a degree," that pretty much tells me you did not.
